Compania Nationala "Aeroportul International Henri Coanda Bucuresti" S.A este persoana juridica romana, cu sediul in Otopeni, judetul Ilfov.
In conformitate cu prevederile H.G. 522/1998, dobandeste statul de companie nationala, prin reorganizarea Regiei Autonome " Aeroportul International Bucuresti-Otopeni" (art.1).
Prin H.G. 527/2004, noua denumire este Compania Nationala "Aeroportul International Henri Coanda-Bucuresti" S.A.
C.N. AIHCB S.A. este societate comerciala pe actiuni, cu capital integral de stat, care se organizeaza si functioneaza pe baza de gestiune economica. Sursele de finantare se asigura din venituri proprii si, in completare, prin transferuri de la bugetul de stat, in conformitate cu dispozitiile legale in vigoare.
Compania Nationala "Aeroportul International Henri Coanda-Bucuresti" S.A. are ca obiect principal de activitate efectuarea de prestatii, servicii, lucrari de exploatare, intretinere, reparare, dezvoltare si modernizare a bunurilor din patrimoniul sau, aflate in proprietate sau in concesiune, in vederea asigurarii conditiilor pentru sosirea, plecarea si manevrarea la sol a aeronavelor in trafic national si/sau international, asigurarea serviciilor aeroportuare pentru tranzitul de persoane, marfuri si posta, precum si servicii de interes public national.
